Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is the SheHive woman-only?
A: Through a lifetime of training, women instinctively and unconsciously step back when men are in the room - moderating their words and watching for signs of discomfort so they can rush to soothe hurt feelings. SheHive events are designed to offer respite from the pressure — and, often, trauma — wrought by this type of social conditioning, allowing female-identified individuals to put their own experiences front and center.

Q: Is there an age limit? Can I bring my kids?
A: We love your kids just like we love our own, but we want to ensure that the SheHive is a safe space where all women can talk freely. Unless otherwise noted, all of our workshops are designed for adults only.

Q: Can I pay at the door for live events?
A: We require advance ticket purchases to secure your spot at all events. This helps your facilitator properly prepare for your attendance and provides us with necessary contact information should we need to cancel an event for any reason.

Q: What time should I arrive for workshops/events?
A: We open 15 minutes in advance for live events and exactly at start time for online events. Both our live and online doors look 10 minutes after the start of any event. The SheHive reserves the right to turn away attendees if their late arrival will disrupt an event. Refunds will not be made for those denied entry due to late arrival.

Q: What is your refund policy?
A: Refunds are available for most events if requested at least 7 days prior to event start. See each event listing for details.

Q. Why do you charge for your classes?
A. We believe in the value of fair exchange and are unabashed in our belief that women deserve to be compensated for their time and talent. Creating a community that is financially solvent and rewards the contributions of our coaches and facilitators helps us create world-class content and allows us to make an even greater impact in our community.

Q. Do you ever offer discounts / free classes?
A. Free or donation-only classes are offered periodically. The SheHive also offers a variety of free and paid resources to meet the needs of our community. Our newsletter, blog and podcast offer a plethora of free content on personal and professional development for women.

Q. I want to facilitate, coach or teach at the SheHive. How do I make that happen?
A. Most facilitators and coaches emerge from within our active membership. Contact us to learn more.
SheHive, LLC, reserves the right to cancel classes for unforeseen circumstances.
Registrants will be notified via email at least 24 hours prior to class time and refunds will be processed.
