Christina Chateauvert, Ph.D.
Inspired by the quote, “she designed a life she loved,” Christina Chateauvert, Ph.D., has created her life as a design thinker, educator, and creativity whisperer. Her personal mission and passion is to educate others in using human-centered design to discover solutions for their business challenges and adopt design thinking mindsets in their leadership styles.
Christina also enjoys exploring how design thinking can be used in the areas of career and professional development. She participated in IDEO’s (a global design firm) six-month fellowship in 2017 to continue to strengthen her coaching skills in human-centered design. Past work experience spans multiple industries and focused on career development, instructional design, talent management, and user experience strategy.
In addition to currently working in the automotive industry, Christina instructs in Wayne State University’s Learning Design and Technology program. She also holds a doctoral degree from the same program, a masters in Training and Development from Oakland University, and a masters in Writing and Publishing from Emerson College. Her research interests include creativity, self-efficacy, reflective practices and qualitative research design.
When she’s not at the SheHive, Christina is busy laughing with friends and her mom, reading non-fiction books, and enjoying time with Emma, her Maltese Pomeranian dog.
