Psychic Counselor and owner of Tarot Jane, LLC Currently reading: Betwixt and Between: Exploring the Faery Tradition of Witchcraft by Storm Faerywolf. I took a class with Storm earlier this year and was impressed with the energy and compassion with which he led ritual. I’ve been slowly reading and doing the exercises in the book since February. I’m fascinated by the Appalachian folk magick that is the basis for his tradition. Currently listening to: The Ancient Wisdom Salvage Yard podcast. My friend Aaron interviewed me recently and now I’m listening to all the other fascinating people he has had on his program. Currently listening to: Hamilton! From cleaning the house to working out, that musical makes it impossible not to move my body. Craziest thing on your Ultimate Life List? I want to jump out of an airplane. I’ve always wanted to experience New Orleans and I’m going in November which puts the parachute next on my list. Best piece of advice you ever received? My father always said, “In a hundred years, no one will remember what you wore to the dance or insert angsty teen drama, but they will remember who you loved.” So I strive not to sweat the details and instead be willing to risk loving deeply. What brought you to the SheHive? And what keeps you here? My sister sent me to the SheHive. First, she brought Ursula and I together for a great talk. My sister, Jeanette Pierce, is a master of bringing people together. She seems to know everyone. I’m excited to finally have experienced the welcoming and interesting space and am looking forward to having more time there. How do you want to be remembered? I want to be remembered as someone who invited people to join me in experiencing life. To welcome people into a conversation or learning experience is to broaden my own horizons as well as theirs. I enjoy the journey more when I share it. #SHEisME Tina G-F., Ferndale

Amanda Sweet (an original SheHive Advisory Board member) brought me, but the amazing classes, inspiring women, and incredible support I get from them all and am able to give back keeps me coming. How do you want to be remembered? As a positive person who inspired others to go for their dreams, be the best they can, and never stop doing what you believe will improve your life. #SHEisME Corinne R., Grosse Pointe Park

Currently listening to: The locusts in my trees. Craziest thing on your Ultimate Life List? Scuba diving with whale sharks. Best piece of advice you ever received? What others think of me is none of my business. What brought you to the SheHive? And what keeps you here? A friend told me about it, I signed up for a life list class. I told Ursula during that class that I wanted to run a Women’s Empowerment therapy group and she invited me to do so at the SheHive. I stay because I believe in all of the work we do, all the visions we share and most importantly in building a community of empowered, connected, kind women. How do you want to be remembered? I would like to be thought of as an honest, funny and ultimately kind person who made the world better by showing others their greatness. #SHEisME |
