The Weekly Waggle is a free, topic-driven conversation that takes place at the SheHive every Wednesday evening from 7 - 9 pm. (You can see the topic selections in the events section on our Facebook page). We are currently seeking female small business owners to sponsor our Waggle series.
Sponsors are responsible for providing drinks/snacks for the evening (generally $25 or less unless you decide to spend more) and would be given ten minutes at the beginning of the event to introduce their business and up to a half hour after the event to meet with anyone who is interested in learning more.

We are live! Live, live, LIVE! Check out the first 100 days of SheHive programming and register now at www.theSheHive.com/class-schedule.html.
We are three weeks away from opening the SheHive doors to the public and our To Do list still contains approximately eleventy-billion items in progress. There are software systems to be learned, classes to be confirmed, rug tiles to be laid, fuse boxes to be found (seriously, where is that thing hiding?!) and one hell of a shopping trip for furniture on the very near horizon.
The one thing that Andrea and I have had no time to pay any sort of attention to is the launch party on October 26th. At our current pace you are likely to show up on the 26th and find a bag of chips on a table and two very tired new business owners sitting in a dark room just happy to see your face. And, oh, what a party that would be, right?
We considered pushing back our opening date just to give ourselves more time to plan the launch party.
Or, maybe, we thought to ourselves - we practice what we preach and fess up to the fact that we can’t do it all on our own and we lean on our Hive.
The SheHive is a place where each woman can bring her unique talents and gifts to help empower the rest of the Hive and, in the process, empower herself. If one of the unique gifts you want to explore is planning a hell of a party to launch a new community of awesome, like-minded women, Andrea and I need you. We have a general idea of what we want the party to “feel like” and we have a budget for you to work with. What you do with the feels and the money is up to you!
