6:30 - 8:00 pm
Instructor: Natasha Ellis
When we laugh, our brains release endorphins, our immune system gets boosted, our blood pressure drops, we breathe easier, our bodies feel less pain. Did you know that laughter is a great cardiovascular exercise? Ha-ha-how about that!
Led by laughter leader, Natasha Ellis, participants will be engaging in laughing, playing, breathing deeply and stretching our bodies gently. "Pretend Laughter" is initiated through simple prompts and activities. The laughter quickly becomes real and it is VERY contagious! You will leave you feeling energized, happy, connected to one another, and less stressed.
Beginners welcome. No equipment or fancy yoga pants necessary. This is an all abilities event, not a traditional yoga class.
This activity is part of our Wellness Wednesday series at the SheHive.
